Gray Wavy Background

Hello,

Nice to Meet You!

I am Pam.

In Pursuit of Wholeness by Pamela Baizas

About Me

I was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated to California, USA at the age of 18. As an immigrant to a new country, I immediately started working multiple jobs while going to college. For many Asian families, education is viewed as your ticket to success, so I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of Phoenix, and Master of Public Administration from University of San Francisco.

I began my Federal career with the U.S. Government in 2005. My background is in public service with over 18 years of experience in performance auditing and various leadership roles. My core values in life have always been about meaningful work, positive impact, and service to others. From the time I was a young child, I have this knowingness that I am to serve for the highest good of all, and to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. Although I take great pride in my public service career, I’ve felt empty for years. I knew I wasn’t living to my greatest potential. I knew deep down that I was made for more.

By the time I was in my late 30s, I felt a burning desire to find   my true purpose,  so I went on a journey of self-discovery by asking the big questions like: “Who am I? Why am I here? What’s my purpose?” Little did I know that these questions would ultimately lead me to the path of spiritual awakening and my own healing journey.

My Story

I grew up in a dysfunctional home where abuse was present. I suffered repeated emotional abuse, and I suffered in silence for decades. I wanted to be invisible in the hopes that the abuse will stop, to the point of contemplating suicide in my mid-20s. I learned to people-please and I had no boundaries. I avoided conflict to minimize further hurt. I learned to suppress my emotions pretending I was okay. Underneath the pretty smiles, I was in pain. Conceal, don’t feel. I held my head high, flashed my beautiful smile, and moved on with my life.

Then in my late 30s, all my suppressed trauma rose to the surface that forced me to face my shadows and embark on my own healing journey which involved a deep dive into healing the mind, body, and spirit. I believe that healing is a holistic approach that addresses the whole person – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of yourself.

The wound is not my fault, but the healing is my responsibility..

Most of us are carrying wounds that are not our fault, but it is up to us to take responsibility for our own healing.  Instead of being the victim, become empowered to re-write your story. My own healing came through a combination of many modalities, including but not limited to, hypnotherapy, energy medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, coaching/mentoring, meditation, breathwork, sound bath, shamanic practices, and other mind-body (somatic) practices. I learned that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healing. There are several modalities that may work for you or not, and it may take some time to find those that fit your needs. Don’t be afraid to experiment and keep an open mind.

As I went deeper into my inner work and through a series of synchronistic events, I became very interested in holistic health and wellness. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, a new passion was born. A fire was ignited within me. I became obsessed with the study of alternative and complementary medicine. I explored the world of energy and metaphysics. I went back to school and studied wellness counseling at Cornell University. I studied various holistic therapies that heal the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I began embodying and practicing everything that I have learned, and I noticed a profound shift within myself. I was my own first student. It’s true what they say that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. I’ve had the privilege of finding mentors and teachers along the way, and I became a student of many leaders in the field of mental health – the prominent leaders who get remarkable results.

Within a period of 4 years, I became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT), Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP), and Certified Energy Healing Practitioner, all while maintaining my full-time job. I opened my private practice in 2019 and I continue to diversify my skills so that I could support my clients at a deeper level. I have a variety of offerings to help you get unstuck so you can create a breakthrough in your life and achieve your goals with ease. I’ve designed my offerings in a tailored, holistic, and integrated approach because you are a unique individual with unique needs and there’s no one like you. I look forward to finding solutions that will work for you.

My Mission

Over the last few years, I finally found the answers to those big questions. I have gained clarity in search of my true purpose and calling in life. I answered the call to a life rich in meaning, which is rooted in service for the highest good of all, and my mission became clear:

To lead you to your highest and greatest potential.

I’m dedicated to helping you make powerful and positive changes by tapping into the deepest wisdom within you. I am your guide, but you are the powerful one. My gift is to help you remember your wholeness so you can step into the person you are meant to be. You are made for more, and my mission is to empower you to achieve it. There is no greater honor than to guide you in your own journey of healing, self- discovery, personal growth, and well-being.

What you can expect on your first visit

I offer a free consultation to give you clarity in the services I offer and to determine if we are good fit.  During your first encounter with me, you can expect to feel seen, heard, respected, and valued.  Regardless of the service you’ve signed up for, we will start with a detailed intake session to review your health history, your goals and intentions, your desired outcome, and your future vision.  My role is to guide you in releasing what’s holding you back so you can become the highest and greatest version of yourself.  I am here to hold space for you as you navigate the greatest project you’ll ever work on – YOU.

In Pursuit of Wholeness by Pamela Baizas

My role is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore and share your story openly. Trust is the foundation of creating a safe space for you.  I am here to lovingly meet you where you’re at on your path and guide you to where you want to be.  Life can feel very heavy when we are holding back stories and experiences that have never been left out of the darker recesses of our minds.  Carrying these stories can be a very lonely and isolating experience.  And shame usually holds us back from seeking help.

Shame dies when you feel safe to open up (psychological safety).  Being heard, and feeling safe are two of the most basic human needs.  I am here to hold space for you so you can heal and evolve into the person you are meant to be.

Most of my sessions are via Zoom.

My Philosophy of Care

1. Healing is a return to Wholeness.

You were born whole and complete, but somehow you have lost touch with your wholeness due to your childhood experiences, unresolved trauma, unmet needs, limiting beliefs, suppressed emotions, societal conditioning, etc. Healing is to become healthy or whole again; and, to restore to original purity in mind, body, and spirit. Healing is returning to a state of being a complete and harmonious whole. Healing is a journey back to wholeness by integrating the mind, body, spirit.

2. Healing is an Ongoing journey.

The healing journey is a universal human experience and a life-long process. It’s a journey, not a destination. It’s an invitation to go deeper, higher, wider, and inward. It’s having the courage to dive deep into your inner world so you can see what’s there, shining a light on the parts of you that you subconsciously reject, and removing any blocks that are holding you back. It’s a continuous process of growth, gaining new perspective, transcending limiting beliefs about yourself and your life, and ultimately discovering the infinite possibilities that exist within you. The process of becoming whole again is all about finding all your lost parts and pieces, filling up your holes from the inside out, and healing them.

3. Heal the Root so the tree is stable.

Hypnotherapy is a modality that focuses on healing the root (aka: core wounds).  One way to address the root cause of your issues is by diving deep into the subconscious mind.  Witnessing the transformation of my clients by addressing their issues at the subconscious level has been so fascinating, rewarding, and fulfilling.  Who knew it was possible to heal decades of suppressed trauma, or release mental and emotional blocks, or reprogram your limiting beliefs in just a few hypnosis sessions?

4. Your Mind has the power to heal your life.

I am passionate about the power of hypnotherapy because I experienced it firsthand. I was a client first, and then a student. I know hypnotherapy works. It’s a powerful form of therapy that creates deeper, lasting, permanent, positive, powerful changes in your life.

5. There is no one-size-fits-all to Wellness.

I come from a perspective of bio-individuality. You are a unique person with unique needs and unique solutions.

My Inspiration

“In Pursuit of Wholeness” – this is the name of my business (LLC). It represents the core and foundation of my life’s work. I truly believe that everyone has the ability to heal themselves, thrive, and return to a state of being a complete and harmonious whole. Healing was the doorway that led me where I am today. I’ve had the honor of assisting my clients with transformational experiences to clear trauma, release limiting beliefs, and adopt better health and well-being through mindset and lifestyle changes.

Allow me to be of service by helping you return to that state of wholeness, awaken to your true essence, and live to your fullest potential. It is my pleasure to welcome you here!
