Hypnotherapy (1 Session)

Investment: $150

This is for a single session if you want to try whether hypnotherapy is right for you, or if you prefer to pay-as-you-go for each session. While 6 sessions offer the highest success rate in addressing one issue, my clients have experienced major breakthroughs even after one session. However, I’ve seen profound transformation with multiple sessions.

  • What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a form of complementary medicine that uses hypnosis to bring about positive change in people. Hypnotherapy has been widely used in clinical settings. In 1958, the American Medical Association and the American Psychological Association recognized hypnotherapy as a valid form of therapy. Hypnotherapy has been proven to be effective for chronic pain management, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, substance abuse, smoking cessation, phobias, lifestyle and behavior changes, and many more issues. My clients have admitted that hypnotherapy delivered results for them what decades of talk therapy couldn’t. In fact, based on a groundbreaking research study conducted in 1970, it was found that hypnotherapy has a better success rate than any other type of therapy. Specifically, the research study found that hypnotherapy had a massive 93% success rate after only 6 sessions. Behavioral therapy (talk therapy) had 72% success rate after 22 sessions. And psychotherapy had 38% success rate after 600 sessions. Just stating the facts.
  • What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state. We all experience it daily, just before falling asleep and right before waking up. This state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, or being lost in your own thoughts, or driving to your destination without remembering how you got there. The term “hypnosis” comes from the Greek word “hypnos,” meaning “sleep.” However, while in hypnosis, you’re not technically asleep. You’ll stay awake during the entire session, and you remain in control. You cannot be controlled to do anything against your will. While in hypnosis, you are in a deep state of relaxation and open to suggestions. You don’t lose consciousness, instead there is typically heightened awareness. For example, you’re aware that you’re lying in bed, though you lose the sense of lying in bed. Hypnotherapists use guided visualizations and other techniques resulting in deep relaxation and an altered state of consciousness, also known as trance. This is the state when you can tap into the realm of the subconscious mind (theta brain wave frequency). In a hypnotic state, you are more receptive to new ideas, and you can more effectively process suppressed emotions and unresolved trauma. Hypnosis is a special form of communication to the subconscious mind. Once your subconscious mind accepts a new idea, you automatically accept it on a conscious level, making changes to your life easily and effortlessly. The most powerful form of therapy is when you tap into the subconscious mind. Hypnosis taps into the subconscious mind – at the root of your issues. No amount of affirmations, mantras, vision boards, journaling, talk therapy, or life hack is going to change your life if you don’t address your issues at its core. The truth is, change happens at a subconscious level, not on a conscious level. If you try to make a change using your conscious awareness, but your subconscious mind is programmed to think and feel differently, it will be very difficult to accomplish your goals. Your subconscious mind needs to be in alignment with your goals in order to succeed. The first step is to ACCESS and UPGRADE your subconscious mind. That’s the secret to achieving your goals easily, effortlessly, and without resistance. At the subconscious level, old beliefs are reprogrammed, positive ideas are planted, new ways of thinking are presented, old emotional wounds are released, and past trauma is healed. True lasting change is rooted in the subconscious mind.
  • How many sessions do I need?
It depends on the issue you would like to address. You may experience a major breakthrough even with just one session. But I’ve seen transformative changes with multiple sessions. Depending on your case, I recommend anywhere from 1-6 sessions, or more. Each client is different. The truth is there’s no magic number. As a rule, I’ll continue to work with a client as long as I’m continuing to see progress. It’s also okay to take a break and come back when you need a little hypnotic upgrade later down the road. We all want quick fixes, overnight results, and rapid transformation. We live in a world of instant gratification, and instant results is always expected. But there is no magic bullet solution out there that will solve your problems in an instant. Not one session. Not one diet. Not one supplement. Not one trip to the gym. Not one magic pill. You have unresolved trauma for many years. You have gained the weight over a number of years. You have programmed a habit or behavior for decades. You cannot expect to dissolve an issue in one single session. Just as you build muscles through repetition of various exercises, your subconscious mind needs repetition too. You achieve a greater level of success through a series of sessions, and when you address your issues at the root cause.
  • Are results guaranteed?
Results can never be guaranteed. Even a doctor or surgeon does not guarantee that a patient will be cured 100%. Nothing brings about 100% guarantee of the desired results, for 100% of the people, 100% of the time. While hypnotherapy won’t work for everyone 100% of the time, it is often a powerful therapy that is as much an art as a science. It’s important to understand that this is therapy, and client commitment is required for the best outcome.
  • What happens during a hypnotherapy session?
During the initial consultation, I will ask you about your main concern or primary reason for seeking hypnotherapy. If hypnotherapy is right for you, I will ask you to fill out a paperwork to know your medical history and related background information. This will give me a broader picture about your health issues, your lifestyle, your goals, and what you would like to achieve with hypnotherapy. I will explain how hypnosis works and what to expect during our sessions. I will also give you a brief overview of the workings of the subconscious mind in more detail and answer any questions you may have. During the session, you get to lie back, relax, and listen to my voice. I will give you a set of simple instructions to help you relax. I will guide you to deepen your relaxation and move you into a trance-like state in which you have heightened focus and awareness, while also feeling relaxed and calm. Once you are in a deeply relaxed state, you have bypassed the part of the mind that uses logic and reasoning (conscious mind). Your subconscious mind is now open and receptive to absorbing positive suggestions, new ideas, and new ways of thinking. You will dive deep into your subconscious mind and that’s where the magic happens. That is the place where real, lasting, positive, and permanent change happens.
